Saturday always is busy prepping and baking, baking, baking for the Sunday Southern Georgian Bay Farmers Market in Midland but summer seems even busier with all the fresh fruit to wash and prep! Strawberries to hull and slice, peaches to peel and slice etc. I love being able to showcase whatever is in season and is as local. Strawberry Oat Squares, Raspberry Tarts, Blueberry Scones, Peach Pies and even Carrot Muffins! Throw in all of the other signature must haves like Glazed Lemon Poundcake, Butter Tarts, Old Fashioned Cookies and Shortbreads, Cinnamon Rolls, Lemon Squares, Fudgy Brownies (the list goes on) and sometimes it sure is hard to decide what makes the cut for that week's bake list snd what has to wait for the next round, and then add in all the new ideas I get all the time and it's no wonder my kitchen and desk are covered in little notes to myself lol.
